Microalgae As Biofuel: Unlocking The Potential of Nature’s Tiny Powerhouses
Abstract:
This review looks on the possibility of using biomass from algae to make biofuel. Microalgae biofuel generation is appealing for a number of reasons. The topic of microalgal bioenergy research and strategic planning has attracted significant financial and human resources from numerous countries and areas worldwide. Nevertheless, the limitations imposed by exorbitant costs have caused a decline in the microalgae biofuel sector. We’ve gathered research results on microalgae biofuel production here, providing information on the opportunities and challenges this industry faces from the perspectives of microalgae cultivation, transformation and growth. This article discusses the advantages and disadvantages of using microalgae to produce biofuels. We talk about algal biomass culture strategies for the long-term generation of biofuels and bio-based goods and briefly explore a number of methods for separating lipids from algal biomass.
